"A friend and I have just attended our second workshop at the fabulous Boho Shed in Billinge. I have learnt so much, furniture painting techniques and now upholstery. Not only are the courses extremely informative but Jo is an excellent tutor who has encouraged me in my newfound love of crafting. I would thoroughly recommend both courses."

"This is a great course, it can be a “just of fun”or it’s a really good intro to upholstery and gives you plenty of skills to set you up for your own home project. Jo was great and very attentive, managing to give plenty of one on one instruction throughout the day. Fabulous workshop- highly recommend!"

"What a lovely way to spend a day, learning a new skill by a very patient and talented teacher Jo, and meeting lots of new friendly faces in gorgeous surroundings being fed homemade scones and cakes. To top it all off, you get to be a very proud parent of a one of a kind footstool! Can’t wait to have a go at another one. Thanks Jo, very inspiring!"

I had a lovely day - just 5 of us in the group so there was plenty of room and ability to get support when I want sure if I was doing things right. As a result, I've got a beautiful item and memories of a fantastic gift! Highly recommended ??"

"I had a brilliant day today amongst some lovely like minded people! Jo’s workshop is excellent. She explains techniques really well and is so helpful with answering questions and demonstrates them individually as well as to the whole group. I managed to transform a dated old side table into something unique and pretty! The added bonus was the delicious cakes and tranquil setting. I would highly recommend this workshop ?"

"Attended the footstool upholstery workshop this weekend, small group of ladies, very nice location. Jo is a lovely teacher, giving step by step instruction as we progressed making a footstool, lots of useful advice and help. There was a wonderful afternoon tea available and refreshments on hand all day. I would definetly reccommend one of Jo's workshops and I made a beautiful footstool which i am very proud of and look forward to doing further upholstery projects."

"I attended the footstool upholstery course - the second time I have been because I enjoyed it so much! Jo is a fantastic teacher and the small number attending meant everyone could be guided individually as required. Everyone came away with a gorgeous footstool and I am now very keen to attend Jo’s furniture painting course. The venue is lovely and a plentiful supply of Jo’s homemade cakes made it a very enjoyable day indeed."

"Had a really enjoyable day in the shed and Jo was excellent - good level of information given and then we were let loose to work on our projects with Jo on hand to help and make suggestions along the way. I had a brilliant day and was delighted with the results of my project - the outcome was better than I had dared to hope for. Would have no hesitation in recommending this course to anyone starting out on furniture painting - it gives a really good base of knowledge and understanding. The homemade bakes were a bonus too! Many thanks Jo for a brilliant day."

Lovely and social too meeting other ladies, having a few cuppas and cake too. Made a lovely footstool and am feeling more confident doing other bits around the house now after the advice Jo provided. Would highly recommend."
