Crafting in the Cotswolds – what’s not to love?
Lechlade Craft Barn offers craft workshops in the pretty Cotswolds market town of Lechlade on Thames. The Craft Barn is an attractive old stone barn at Karen's home and is the perfect setting to discover and develop your crafting skills.
Owner Karen has a long-held passion for crafting, with backgrounds in retail and event management. Along with her workshops, she is joined by a talented team of guest tutors who offer a wide range of craft workshops.
The barn is accessed via external stone steps with handrails on either side and unfortunately may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Some workshops are delivered nearby in the bright and spacious Memorial Hall complex and other local venues.
In addition to published workshops, we also offer bespoke Crafty Parties for Hens, groups of friends and family, special occasions, or any excuse to have a crafty day.

"Lovely course with lovely people.
I enjoyed making stained glass with clear helpful instructions from Sharon and Graham yesterday. The others students were lovely and we helped each other make some very nice peices which we proudly took home to show our families. It was relaxing to do something completely different from my hectic normal day to day working life. I will book again and thoroughly recommend it. Dont think it, Just do it. Thats what I did and I'm pleased I did."
Lechlade Craft Barn responded:
"Hi Liz
I'm so pleased you enjoyed the day. Sharon's range of stained glass and pyrography workshops are always so popular.
We look forward to seeing you again.
Karen"
"Karen and Emma were lovely. We enjoyed hot drinks and biscuits. The barn was a beautiful place to work and filled with crafts made from previous workshops.
I came out with 2 necklaces and 2 pairs of earrings. All the accessories were provided (chains and earring backs). We were then given beautiful eco friendly gift boxes and a bag. They all looked very professional. Excellent value for money. Thank you, I will be back to attend more workshops in the future x"
"Such an enjoyable workshop. Karen was a very knowledgeable tutor and took us through the various techniques and materials we could use to make our mosaic. I was delighted with the results and now have the confidence to try it out at home. "
