Create your own bangles, jewellery and accessories working with vegan non-toxic resin and real pressed flowers - perfect for summer days, weddings or festivals! Discover the art of working with both epoxy and UV resin (vegan non-toxic) with Emma from Nature's Inspiration on this fun full day workshop. Learn how to preserve botanicals and encase within resin and how to finish these before the end of the workshop. Working with fast cure resin these will be touch dry and ready to de-mould but fully dry in 24 hours. Match to a wedding outfit or just enjoy some new jewellery and accessories for Summer 2025. Spend this morning working with silicone moulds and epoxy resin to create a wide or narrow handmade floral bangle with real pressed flowers from Emma's garden or those she has responsibly foraged within Gloucestershire and hand pressed/dried. There will also be some sparkles available if you wish. Time permitting will dictate whether one or two are made. Please note that moulds are typically (60, 62cm please do let us know if you have a different size hand/wrist. You can measure using a strip of paper and wrap around marking where they meet comfortably on both the widest point of your hand and wrist. Then lay flat and use a tape measure. The cuff bangle design allows a little more flexibility as it doesn't go over the hand). The bangles will be set aside to cure but before the end of the workshop de-mould them and finish using a deburring tool to remove any sharp edges. During the afternoon you will be working with UV resin and flower botanicals to create jewellery and accessories such as cufflinks, keyrings, earrings, pendants, rings or brooches. Discover how to arrange the flowers before setting in your choice of pendant (heart, star, circle or Hexagon) then when cured using a UV lamp finish your pieces by adding your choice of bail, desired length of chain, earring wires etc. to make your very own resin jewellery from start to finish! Ta dah Summer ready!

Crafting in the Cotswolds – what’s not to love? Lechlade Craft Barn offers craft workshops in the pretty Cotswolds market town of Lechlade on Thames. The Craft Barn is an attractive old stone barn at Karen's home and is the perfect setting to discover and develop your crafting skills. Owner Karen has a long-held passion for crafting, with backgrounds in retail and event management. Along with her workshops, she is joined by a talented team of guest tutors who offer a wide range of craft workshops. The barn is accessed via external stone steps with handrails on either side and unfortunately may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Some workshops are delivered nearby in the bright and spacious Memorial Hall complex and other local venues. In addition to published workshops, we also offer bespoke Crafty Parties for Hens, groups of friends and family, special occasions, or any excuse to have a crafty day.
