"A really informative yet relaxed course - Julie demonstrated and then gave feedback as I practiced. I came away with my garments mended and the skills to do this myself in future. Julie was happy to share her knowledge as we talked around the subject whilst working on the garments, and her engaging personality made the time go by quickly and easily. "

"Fantastic course! Learnt more in 3 hours than I did weeks trying to learn by myself. Would definitely recommend for anyone starting out with crochet!! Has made all the difference and given a big head start. I’m now halfway through making my first blanket! She was very patient and I was sent away with wool and lots of crochet hooks. "

As I complete beginner she taught, explained and helped and I came away having an achieved a complete project. I have immediately begun two projects at home and feel very proud - all down to clear patient teaching. Will def book another course. Thank you Julie and thank you too for the tea and biscuits. "

"This was a really enjoyable day. The course was very practical and I am very pleased with the pair of socks I made. Although I have hand-knitted socks, I have never used a circular sock knitting machine before. It was more fiddly than I anticipated, but having a 1:1 lesson meant the course went at my pace, which was great. The tutor, Julie, has an absolute wealth of knowledge about sock knitting machines and the whole scene and was good company. It was a well run day, with a nice lunch provided and tea/coffee/biscuits also. Would recommend."
