"Thank you Julie for a wonderful course. The venue is great and Julie is inspiring. She is an excellent teacher and very gifted crafter. As I complete beginner she taught, explained and helped and I came away having an achieved a complete project. I have immediately begun two projects at home and feel very proud - all down to clear patient teaching. Will def book another course. Thank you Julie and thank you too for the tea and biscuits. "

"This was a really enjoyable day. The course was very practical and I am very pleased with the pair of socks I made. Although I have hand-knitted socks, I have never used a circular sock knitting machine before. It was more fiddly than I anticipated, but having a 1:1 lesson meant the course went at my pace, which was great. The tutor, Julie, has an absolute wealth of knowledge about sock knitting machines and the whole scene and was good company. It was a well run day, with a nice lunch provided and tea/coffee/biscuits also. Would recommend."

"We arrived with a non working sock machine and left with one that worked. Julie's husband was very patient and got the machine working by the time we left. We were able to complete a pair of socks on Julie's machine. However, on the domestic front, all was not well. During the time we were there, we were only offered one drink, and I had to supply my own tea bag as the promised beverages were not available."
