Dinky hot water bottle with handmade cover (design Claire)
Description
This is a dinky hot water bottle which holds approximately 1/2 litre of hot water. It is a perfect pocket size. The cover is made on a tradition circular sock machine which was manufactured in the 1920s. The yarn used is 75% wool, and 25% polyamide, so it is machine washable and hard wearing.
How this was made
The cover is knitted using a traditional circular sock machine which was manufactured in the 1920’s. It was hand finished using a traditional kitchener stitch.
