Description
Knitting is a fantastic skill to have. So if you are young, old or in between and would like to learn the basics, then come and learn with us. The course includes the knitting needles and yarn you will be using. You will be able to take both these items home with you. You will be taught how to cast on, do basic garter stitch, how to do ribbing, how to increase stitches and decrease stitches and how to cast off. There will be a short discussion on how to read a knitting pattern and you will start to make your hat. You may not finish your hat in the time you have left of the lesson, but you will have learnt all the skills necessary to finish your project at home.
