"I had never done woodwork before so was slightly nervous of being able to create a chair. However, Ben’s instruction, guidance and encouragement was excellent. He brought the skills to life and made every step achievable. The chair making course is a wonderful contrast to daily life, and the simplicity of creating something from fresh logs is quite magical. I would fully recommend the chair making course: the pace, step by step, the teaching and the measurable progress each week, culminating in the creation of a beautiful piece of furniture is excellent. "An extremely enjoyable day spent with my daughter learning how to make our own organic skincare products. I have used it for 2 days and already notice the difference in my skin with some lumps and bumps that I have diminishing which I'm delighted about. Allison is very knowledgeable and keen to share information with others in her lovely 'she shed' which is only 10 mins walk from Reedham train station. Highly Recommended. "This is a fantastic 2 day workshop. I cannot recommend it enough. Jason and Louise are excellent teachers, patient, enthusiastic and inspiring. You will receive hands on tuition on the core techniques for bag making and leather work. The studio is a great environment for working in. The materials provided are of thw highest quality and the sense of achievement at making your own handmade leather bag will remain with you for a long time to come. Please gift yourself this course and you will not regret it!"

Her instructions were clear and easy to follow, she provided comprehensive notes to take home and we came away with some lovely soaps - cant wait to be able to use them! "A fairly heavy layer of overnight snow tried to dampen (and chill) our spirits, but we were greeted with a steaming hot cup of tea/coffee and a warm workshop, so we were not deterred. Sarah was great at making us feel welcome and we were soon busy learning how to cut glass. Before we knew it we had made a simple pendant, and were even able to see it being fired in a mini-microwave kiln. It was good to be encouraged to take before and after photos (so do have your camera ready) as it is lovely to see the transformation from fairly rough cut glass to a smooth, finished piece. We then set about making a sun-catcher. There were plenty of different resources to use, not just glass, so we had a good range of colours and items to be able to blend into our pieces. The atmosphere was relaxed and encouraging. Sarah was good at guiding whilst encouraging us to do what we wanted - not what she thought we should do. This must be a fine balance and I think she did this well. The two hours flew by. Within a couple of days we were able to pick up our pieces at a time convenient to us. I would thoroughly recommend this course to those who are novices to those who have dabbled a little too. Thank you Sarah"

"I recently attender the Blacksmith Hammer Skills course with a friend and we had a brilliant day. We were made so welcome by Bob the instructor who did a great job at showing us how to heat and fashion metal bars. The snail I made has pride of place in the windowsill. I would definitely recommend this experience, it was such a great day out."

"A really good course. The morning's theory made so much sense when we were let loose with materials in the workshop during the afternoon. There were 6 on my course, the maximum that Emma has, but we were all able to make 3 batches of soap, learn from what others were doing and never felt out of our depth. I'm so pleased with what I have achieved - even the batch with the difficult to use thyme scent. I was really impressed with what was included in the starter pack and have lots of ideas for batches 4 - 7! Thank you."
