Description

A wonderfully relaxing session working/ playing in a range of media. The workshop is in a beautiful garden gallery/studio in the market town of Alford. The session starts with tea/coffee, a warm welcome, and an introduction. The day is artist-led by me, Amina, a professional artist and qualified teacher of over 27 years. You will be using oil pastels, wax crayons, watercolours, and acrylic paints on manipulated and stressed paper to make the most beautiful textures and patterns on which to paint upon. Whether you're a beginner or intermediate this is a great workshop suitable for all abilities and over 16's. The workshop is a maximum of 8 which allows for plenty of 1-1 tuition and advice on tap. Please bring a packed lunch/ snack.

I am an artist and qualified teacher living and working in my stunning garden art gallery and studio in Lincs. Throughout the year, I conduct diverse art workshops that cover painting in watercolours, acrylics, pottery, mixed media, and drawing with various media, including batik and lino printing. My "Watercolors & Afternoon Tea Experience" is very popular, so why not treat yourself and your friends? If you're interested in a unique and quirky private art party in the garden gallery, you get to choose the day, time, medium, and subject. My gallery also features a permanent exhibition of my work. In addition, I offer pottery sessions, including hand-building using slab, coil, and pinch pot techniques. Workshops are limited to 6-8 participants, ensuring quality instruction and quality tuition.
