The Oast Shoulder Bag

Our Oast Shoulder Bag is designed to be just the right size to hold all of your essentials like a good book, a tinted lip balm and a bar of chocolate! It is fully lined, has an adjustable strap and measures around 30cm x 24cm. This bag is fun to make and easier to sew than it looks! During this workshop you will learn: - How to cut from a simple pattern - How to insert a lining - How to add an adjustable strap - How to add a magnetic closure Our Studio is in a beautiful converted Oast with exposed beams and gentle views across the farmland.  Filled with mouth-watering aromas from The Oast Bakery, where Alison prepares our delicious refreshments, this is the perfect place to escape the pressures of daily life and enjoy some creative time for yourself.  Our aim is to offer the chance to unwind, learn a new skill and meet like minded people whilst enjoying a cuppa and a slice of cake. What's included in the price?

- The main outer fabric for your bag in a choice of 3 colours - The webbing for the strap - All hardware (magnetic popper, strap sliders and D rings) - Teas, coffee, delicious treats and homemade lunch from The Oast Bakery You are welcome to bring your own sewing machine, or use one of ours If you would like to make this bag uniquely yours, please bring along 1/2 a meter of light cotton in a colour and design of your choice for the lining. Alternatively, you can take pot luck and choose from our selection of cotton remnants.
