This course is designed for individuals who have a basic understanding of how to operate a sewing machine. Learn the fundamentals of patchwork and quilting by creating a simple cushion cover—an excellent gift for yourself or others! In this course, you will: * Select fabric colours. * Use various sewing machine feet, including a quarter-inch foot, a walking foot, a zipper foot, and optionally a free-motion foot. * Discover how to position and connect pieces of fabric for decorative effects. * Prepare your quilt "sandwich." * Explore different methods for quilting your piece. * Learn how to insert a zipper and finish the cushion cover.
