Description
This course will teach you how to use specialised knifes to carve a wooden spoon! Starting with a spoon blank we will cover a variety of knife techniques to achieve the desired spoon shape. This course is suitable for beginners and children over 11 year old. Children under 16 need to be accompanied by a parent or carer. Please bring your own lunch and cold drinks. Hot drinks and biscuits.

Maker
The Coppice Co. started in 2020 after Suz Williams finished her two year apprenticeship as a coppice worker and traditional craft maker. Since then she has been teaching traditional woodland crafts across the country. Her speciality is willow weaving, split hazel baskets and spoon carving.
