Silver jewellery stacking rings workshop (Saturdays)
Description
💫Join us at Oldman House Studio in Mildenhall, Suffolk, for an immersive day of creativity and craftsmanship where you will learn the basics of silver jewellery making. Under the expert guidance of Rachel, a seasoned maker with over 25 years of experience in precious metal-smithing, you'll craft your own sterling silver spinner ring from start to finish. This hands-on workshop will teach you essential techniques such as annealing, sawing, soldering, and texturing, allowing you to create beautifully unique pieces. 💫Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to refine your skills, this workshop caters to all levels. You'll have access to all the necessary tools and materials, including sterling silver, to create three gorgeous sterling silver stacking rings from a combination of six designs. 💫To ensure a personalised experience, our classes are limited to just six participants, providing ample time for one-on-one instruction and guidance. The intimate setting is perfect for asking questions and honing your technique. Plus, we’ll keep you fuelled with plenty of tea, coffee, and delicious cake throughout the day. 💫All you need to bring is your enthusiasm (and perhaps your reading glasses!). For your safety, we recommend wearing closed-toe shoes and avoiding loose clothing. We also kindly ask that you respect our non-smoking policy and our neighbours, as we are nestled in a charming mix of commercial and residential properties. 💫If you’re interested in a private group session, we can accommodate up to six participants on an alternative date. Get in touch to arrange a bespoke experience for you and your friends. Minimum age 16, with a participating adult. 💫Don’t miss this opportunity to create something beautiful and learn new skills in a supportive and inspiring environment. Book your spot today, and take home not only a stunning piece of jewellery but also unforgettable memories. 💫To contact us, reach out to us directly through the 'message the tutor' button. For detailed information on our terms and conditions, please contact us directly. Kindly note that cancellations made within two weeks of the event will result in forfeiture of the workshop fee; however, if we are able to fill your spot, a refund may be possible. We also reserve the right to cancel the class if fewer than three participants are registered, in which case a full refund will be issued.
