Description
Make your own silver Trinity Ring (traditionally named a Russian ring) at Hove Jewellery Works. Join us for a fun workshop and learn how to make and lightly texture 3 rings that interlock. This can be made to fit a finger or worn on a chain if preferred. This class is ideal for beginners and those who would like to refresh their jewellery knowledge. Each student will be guided through the making process using hand tools and jewellery making equipment. Under the guidance of your experienced tutor, you will learn the following skills: - annealing (heating) - forming (hammering, doming and shaping) - soldering - sizing - texturing - filing - papering (finishing process) - polishing All students will start the day with a piece of recycled silver wire and learn how to form, size and texture each band to create 3 individual slim rings (all the same size) and then interlinking them making a beautiful finished piece. Our experienced tutor will guide you through each process on the path to producing your desired piece. We used recycled Eco silver in all of our classes and avoid the use of newly mined materials where possible. It is important to us to lesson the impact our jewellery school has on the planet. By using recycled materials we are committed to positive change. Do let me know if you have any questions via the "message the tutor" button. I look forward to meeting you, Mat
