Make Wedding Rings / Bands Couples Workshop (Cornwall)
Description
In this workshop we will make your wedding rings/bands. The course covers tutor costs for 2 people and all the materials for x2 sterling silver bands. We can make these in oval, D-shape, round or flat wire and can finish them in a variety of textures/finishes. If you would like to upgrade to gold, white gold or anything else please get in touch. I'll let you know the extra costs for the metal, and will require payment at least 2 weeks before your couples workshop is due to take place. The session will finish with a celebratory glass of bubbly! This course is more suited if you want something more simple for your wedding bands. If you would prefer more unusual/creative bands I'd recommend my other wedding band wax carving workshop. This class is suitable for beginners and is an introduction to basic silversmithing techniques. We will break each stage down step by step throughout the class so you can leave wearing your new creations! This will be a session with just the happy couple and me! This will take place in my studio in Penryn (near Falmouth), Cornwall. Please note, my studio is shared with a few other artists so there may be other people around while I'm teaching. This just adds to the lovely creative vibe! Courses can be approx 3 hours long. Age Restrictions: Classes are suitable for anyone over 16; for ages 14-16 they will need to be accompanied by an adult who is also booked into the class. FAQs
Depends which course you are booking onto and how many people are attending. If you are the only person attending, most courses will be complete within 3 hours. For groups of 3 or more you are looking at 4/5 hours for most courses.
If you are going to get hungry over the course of the session I'd advise bringing a pack lunch. There is tea and coffee available at my studio, but there isn't many shops within walking distance.
There is indeed, there is usually parking directly out front but if this is unavailable There will be parking available within the yard.
