Make a Stamped Silver Ring - Jewellery making workshop

In this 2 hour workshop you will learn to create your very own stamped sterling silver ring. Working with sterling silver we will use traditional jewellery making techniques to create a beautiful ring stamped with your own design for you to wear and take home. We will learn to size your ring, add texture the surface, finish and polish your ring so that you can wear it home. The course cost includes materials for one stamped ring. The workshop will take place at The Studio at Millbank, Millbank House, Cumnock and a maximum of 8 attendees will take part in the workshop. Suitable for those aged 12 and over although those between 12-16 years of age must be accompanied by a paid adult attendee. No previous jewellery experience is necessary, all materials to make your ring are supplied and all tools needed for the class will be provided for use during the workshop. As we will be working with tools, loose clothing should be avoided, particularly long loose sleeves; closed toe shoes should be worn; if you have long hair it should be worn tied back, and please remember to bring glasses if needed as we will be working with small objects.

The Studio at Millbank is an educational workspace for the delivery of jewellery making classes for up to 8 students. Nestled in the historic heart of Cumnock, deep in the rural Ayrshire countryside, The Studio at Millbank is a beautiful, light and airy workspace found upstairs in Millbank House in Cumnock. The Studio is home to Crazy for Ruthie Jewellery and as well as a working studio is an educational space for the delivery of jewellery classes and workshops for up to 8 students at a time. As well as an advertised programme of workshops, individual and group lessons can be booked privately.
