Jewellery Making Workshop Pierced Silhouette Pendant or Earrings
Description
Make a beautiful silhouette piece of jewellery. In this full day class, you will be introduced to jewellery making using silver. Local jewellery artist, Helen Smith, will guide you through the designing and making process. You will learn how to pierce a design from 25 x 25 x 0.8mm silver sheet, then cut out the external shape. You will then finish, polish and texture as desired to create your own unique pendant or pair of earrings. Groups also welcome, a great way to spend time with family or friends. Suitability: Adult & 16+. Beginners & advanced. (Please contact us to discuss if a younger person would like to take part). Duration: 6 hours including a break for lunch. Book early to avoid disappointment.
What's included in the price?
- All tools and materials included. - A 16” sterling silver chain or ear findings are included. - It is possible to have your pieces hallmarked (at an additional cost). This will take about 2-3 weeks. Please note: You will need to wear closed toe shoes and tie long hair back. A small blowtorch is used for the silver soldering process. You will be provided with protective goggles for this. Make a day of it, book a yummy buffet style lunch or refreshments can be ordered ahead from the Barn Café to make your outing extra special.
