Great resources available and a lovely atmosphere in the studios above the Hope mill Theatre in Manchester. Small group of 4 of us and we really enjoyed ourselves. "A very well organised and well explained introduction to the copper foiling technique. We started with health and safety issues, then moved onto basic glass handling and various cutting methods. Then we experimented with cutting and Foiling a small design. During the afternoon we completed a larger piece. I felt that I had achieved something by the end and took home two very nice pieces with me. Sharon was very attentive throughout and quick to give advice. An excellent day!"

"A really lovely course - warm, friendly and welcoming! Nice relaxed pace but packed with advice, useful info and guidance, Sharon is very supportive and knowledgable. I really liked the format of the day, starting with safety advice and a practice piece, before being able to be creative and make your own piece or use a myriad of design ideas. "This is the second course I have taken with the same tutor. So I came to this with a working knowledge of stained glass. But still it was engaging and informative. It started with the basics and at by the end of the session we had completed a nice little sun catcher. It wasn’t prescriptive so we have the option to make something we designed ourselves. It was a great course with a great tutor."

"This is second course that I attended with Sharon, and it was also planned out in logical way. It was limited to 4 places (all of Sharon’s course are limited to 4 places) so that the students could progress at their own pace, giving them the confidence to complete their final piece. Sharon was always on hand to offer help, support and advice [as well as tea, coffee and biscuits). The structure of the course was well balanced, with a mixture of different age groups. Sharon promotes a friendly and relaxed environment and I would highly recommended this course and the stained glass course which I also attended."
