Textile artist Anne Brooke of HanneMade studio shares her love of stitch and introduces you to a range of hand embroidery techniques using one of her own gorgeous designs – 'Winter Robin'. Please note, although you may not complete this on the day you will have the skills to continue at home. This workshop is suitable for any level of embroiderer whether you are starting out or want to add new techniques to your repertoire. Anne has an international following after inspiring crafters worldwide to embroider through her YouTube challenges.
What's included in the price?
Classes are individually priced & include the tools to use in class and all materials, unless otherwise indicated. Refreshments are available throughout the day. Lunch is not included but there are lots of lovely cafés close by to suit every taste and budget.

Founded in 1906, we are a family firm with shops in York and Harrogate. We specialise in haberdashery and needlecrafting materials and workshops, with an international reputation for stocking over 10,000+ different button designs. Our classes are held in a beautiful beamed room at the top of our medieval building in York and in the Yorkshire town of Ilkley in a converted Victorian double-fronted shop. They are taught by practicing designers and makers with considerable expertise in (and passion for) their respective crafts, and considerable teaching experience.
