Description

Our Sea Holly design, inspired by many of our coastal walks is printed on premium quality linen and features a gentle coast background. The kit is complete with the highest quality Madeira stranded cotton embroidery threads, needle book and full instructions. Our limited edition Sea Holly embroidery kit has been created to allow you to follow the stitch guide or interpret and embroider as much or as little as you want and because the design is permanent, you do not have to be an expert to make these designs your own. We have provided plenty of thread, so you can have fun creating your own work. A beginner who is comfortable with only one or two embroidery stitches can quite happily stitch these designs and they are perfect for slow stitch projects. Supplied as a 22 x 22cm panel (approx), the design measures approx 17 x 17cm and will fit into a 7" hoop. The panels are also suitable for machine embroidery if you wish. Panels are expertly printed in the UK and are colourfast and washable at 30 degrees Celsius. Maureen is a master hand embroiderer with over 25 years experience. Skills handed down from Irish ancestors have been honed with training from world class embroidery schools. Small courses and workshops are often held in her native Cumbria and the hand embroidery courses can be studied via distance learning or online.

"This kit arrived earlier this week and is nicely packaged and has everything needed to make the item. The instructions look clear and the end product looks like it will be beautiful (depending on my skill!). The only reason I didn't give this 'excellent' is due to the fact that there's no print out for the stitches required, I'm going to look them up on YouTube as I think I know what I'm doing, but a simple print out showing how to do these stitches would be useful for others. Overall, I'd buy this kit again, or another kit from the same maker."
