Christmas Bauble Decorations, Needle and Wet Felted
Description
Using two different felting techniques you will make a set of Christmas baubles to take away with you. You will be able to reuse them each year to adorn your home with festive charm. Enjoy a relaxing morning learning how to attach the soft wool to polystyrene balls using a specialist felting needle. You will then extend the effect by using soap and water to wet the felt so that the fibres lock even more and create a fabulous marbled effect. They will then be rinsed and dried while you have a well earned piece of cake and a cuppa. When dry we will insert a small metal topper so that it is ready for hanging. As with many crafts there are some repetitive motions so please work at your own pace and ability. An apron and a large old towel are useful but not essential items to bring.
