Description

Learn how to make a book resist pattern to create a complex vessel / 3D form. This is a great workshop for those looking to develop their wet felting / 3d vessel making skills to make more complex shapes in one piece. The skills you learn during the workshop will help you create and employ multiple resists / layers, enabling you to develop your felt making skills for future projects such as hat making, puppet making, etc. You will learn how to: *Create a multiple 'book' resist template *Layout the wool to cover the multiple page resist. *Make smooth / seamless felt around the multiple page resist. *Select where and how to remove the resist *Work the cut edges to 'heal' the opening to remain open or closed. *Choose to leave the inside of the form vacant or fill. *Rinse, reshape, block and dry.
