From leggings , dresses , undies and sportswear - stretch fabrics offer comfort and durability . Find out how to get professional sewing results in the masterclass LEARN: - how to use your sewing machine : difference between stretch stitch settings versus straight stitches - what stitch settings to use for elasticated fabrics /trims - what type of stretch fabrics are available & what they are used for - what type of stretch trims are available & what they are used for - how to calculate stretch trims & how to attach to fabric in various ways - how to use twin needles Students will explore various sewing techniques that are used professionally when sewing with stretch materials. There will be hand outs and each student will create sewing samples to take home and use as reference for future sewing projects. Each student will have the chance to sew a hair scrunchie (using elastic and fabrics from the classroom)
