London Sculpture Workshop (LSW) is a not for profit CIC and artist led maker space, founded in 2012 by graduates from The Royal College of Art (RCA) and The Slade School of Fine Art as an open access sculpture workshop with a short course programme. LSW was founded to meet the need for accessible, inclusive, affordable, high-quality facilities for anyone who wants to make in 3D.

"I loved doing this course, I love learning new techniques and this was the perfect environment, the teacher was very patient and explained everything fully and I felt like I’d learnt a lot by the end of the course. You get total creative freedom over what you get to make at the end so everyone did their own different things and it was so fun seeing it all take shape and seeing what everyone made! "

We had a lovely and patient teacher who showed us all the different techniques and then let us all go off and explore this new medium in our own different ways so we all came up with completely different designs which was lovely. "Wonderful course with a brilliant teacher. Everyone left the course having made something unique for themselves and with a greater knowledge of welding. I’d never welded before but the environment felt very safe and structured with a patient teacher and it wasn’t that complicated at all! No creation was off limits, we could all explore welding in our own way at our own pace. "
