"I spent a wonderful day at Kingcot Gallery learning to make stained glass. Vicky ran a relaxed and friendly session with me and another student. The day was very informative. Vicky had some designs for us to select and was happy to work with us with some source inspiration to create our own simple designs. Vicky discussed the glass cutting techniques, using a jig, soldering, potential pitfalls and ways to elaborate on the craft further. At the end of the course both the other student and I were keen to take another course at Kingcot as soon as possible!"

"My partner and I did a one-day stained glass course. Both Vicky and Vic (who was on hand go help us in the morning while Vicky was busy with another group) were absolutely delightful! We were really pleased by how much freedom we were given (even though we were complete beginners) to choose a design and to crack on with it! There was as much support as we needed but it felt genuinely creative and like a learning experience, not just painting by numbers. The Vicky and Vic were also really kind, lovely folks so we had a good natter over lunch and while we were working away. Cannot recommend it highly enough!!"

"As all other reviewers have said, Vicky is a great lady with extensive knowledge and a fantastic personality too. My friend and I did a copper foil day and were both inspired to go on and do more. The setting is great, the workshop is comfortable and lunch was lovely. If I lived nearer I would join "glass club". Highly recommended. "

"I had the most wonderful day with Vicky and thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish. Vicky is the most wonderful and patient teacher and I came away from the day with a stained glass panel I am proud to display in my home. I had absolutely no prior experience but Vicky guided me through the whole process so well - and a lovely lunch too! Thank you so much Vicky."

"I had a thoroughly enjoyable day. Vicky gave clear instructions and demonstrated how to use all the different tools I might need to shape my pieces of glass. It was really interesting learning how to do something completely new and I was quite surprised at how much I managed to do in the day. She offered suggestions or advice if I asked but it was very much my piece of work. It was a very relaxed, sociable day with a lovely lunch and I'm already dropping hints that I'd like another day as my Christmas present. Loved it."
