Fused glass introduction 1/2 day at Kingcot, Worcestershire
Description
Always wondered how those beautiful glass pieces are created that you see when down at the coast? Well come and have a go at a workshop that couldn't be further away from the sea if it tried! Based in the heart of the Worcestershire countryside you can do coasters, panels, candle shields and hangers with seaside pictures, flowers, houses or test your abstract skills. The day is split into two sessions, morning 10am - 1pm or afternoon 2pm - 5pm. Please note Tuesdays and Thursdays are morning sessions only due to a regular group booking. How much you make depends on your confidence, with a maximum of 6 people per session there is plenty of teaching time. As an indication, an average make is a pair of coasters and a hanger in a 1/2 day session.
What's included in the price?
All materials are included and a second firing if a piece needs to be shaped. Refreshments are provided and if a full day has been booked this includes a buffet style lunch. The only additional cost will be is if you need your pieces posted to you, then postage will be charged. Please ensure you wear closed toe shoes for the day.
