"A truly fantastic experience...I’m a total novice in woodwork and by the end of this fabulous weekend had made the most beautiful stool...Aaron is a wonderful teacher; patient and very encouraging, instilling confidence...his weekend is really thoughtfully planned and organised whilst remaining flexible and relaxing...a total must...a beautiful part of Scotland, and the setup in the woods is just brilliant...we went as a group of friends and truly had an unforgettable time...home Sunday evening with stools our friends and family will be admiring for a long time. Great fun, filled with laughter, friendship, sunshine and new skills...need I say more! If in doubt, just go for it, you won’t regret this decision ever...I’m definitely returning for another course. Mike Smith reviewed: Knife Making and Bladesmith Classes: Hand-Forged Viking Knife

"An amazing course for anyone interested in blacksmithing. John, Spencer and Steve are great teachers, and the course is run at a comfortable pace for any ability. You will learn a great deal about the art of blade making and gain first hand experience of many blacksmithing techniques, from shaping hot metal with a hammer and anvil through to hardening and honing your own blade that you can take home. The day is immensely good fun and I would definitely recommend it to anyone!"

David reviewed: Woodturning courses in Hampshire - Beginners and improvers wood turning courses - Turn British, all British lathes!!

"A very enjoyable half day, one to one, course that introduced me to wood turning. Andy explained the basics and then let me get on with producing my first bowl. With his guidance and assistance I ended up with a nice looking bowl, a sense of achievement and a desire to go back for another session. Not sure where the time went but I have already asked my family for another gift voucher such that I can have another go. Thanks Andy."

Tracy Metcalfe reviewed: Intuitive Collage for Healing, Personal Development & Wellbeing

"I enjoy all of Kassi’s courses and this was no exception. My intuitive collage unfolded very naturally through a very well guided set of prompts and questions and demonstration videos. I found myself being totally committed to the production of my collage and to the messages that arose as a result of delving deep into the layers of images and colours. I couldn’t stay away from my collage too long and each time I re-connected with it, I became totally absorbed in the process. It was a very healing experience. Kassi supported me in the interpretation of my collage too, especially where areas of the collage had trouble speaking to me. Kassi uses a variety of strategies which enable you to interpret your visual work in a non-threatening, non-judgemental way that supports your emotional, mental, spiritual and physical wellbeing. Both laughter and crying (the latter I am particularly working on) are allowed to be welcomed. I am always interested in Kassi’s courses as I know that I will further deepen my awareness of my sense of self and grow in ways that not only I will benefit from but also the people and the world with whom I engage with will too."

Alan Shuttleworth reviewed: Pole Lathe Bowl Turning - Your First Bowl

"At the Bodger’s Ball I was very lucky to get a last minute place bowl turning with Ade. He has a calm and thorough approach taking you through all the stages from log to bowl. Regular pauses to demonstrate the next stage or answer questions helped split up the physical activities in the bowl production. Not only did I come away with my first bowl and the basic knowledge to have a go on my own lathe but I also had a nice bag of wood shavings to use for smoking food, an excellent bonus day at the Ball."

"As a complete beginner I attended the course on 29.05.18. The two tutors showed us a range of techniques, explaining everything in detail as we went along, and keeping a very watchful eye on what we were doing to ensure a pleasing outcome. They also valued our efforts and paid careful attention to firing our pieces. I am thrilled with what I made and I have signed up for another day in the Autumn. Thank you so much. P.S. Lovely lunch too."

"I cannot recommend this enough! Lena is an excellent tutor, knowledgeable and informative. Her studio is spacious and well equipped and I am completely delighted with my finished picture, which really is finished as Lena dried it and gave us the time and equipment to add final needle felted details. The day was so enjoyable, the other women on the course were all so friendly and Lena's home made cake was delicious and I am going to try her recipe. I will definitely look out for other courses from Lena, thank you."

Anne Bulley reviewed: Stonecarving Weekend, Gloucestershire Cotswolds

"The fact that I keep returning to Sebastian's sculpture courses speaks for itself I think. I enjoy the space, the company, the amount of input from Sebastian, which is never too much nor too little. He is always there if needed. He explains how all the stone he has on offer carves and details of its makeup, but most of all I love working in the open air (if it isn't raining or snowing!) creating, thinking, working out how to achieve the effect I am aiming for. Long may he continue to provide such pleasurable and constructive courses."
