"Thanks for a wonderful 5 days learning about sacred geometry and making tiles. I had the best time and had a real sense of satisfaction seeing the end result. I would never have guessed that we could get so much done in a few days, especially in such a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Natalie Thomas reviewed: One day stained glass classes by Le Breton Traditional

"The teaching was excellent with techniques demonstrated from the start. In a short time I was ready to have a go at the basics, and by the end of the day I felt completely at ease cutting glass and using all of the tools provided. I really enjoyed the day, everyone was friendly and there was a warm atmosphere. I appreciated being taught by someone who is skilled, relaxed and happy to share their knowledge. I am more than happy to recommend this course. A very enjoyable day !!"

Petra Hilgers reviewed: Hand spinning Advanced Level 3 accredited course at All in a Spin

"Being half-way through the course I'm amazed at how much I've already learned thanks to Dunja's very methodical, easy to follow and clearly structured course: I've been spinning for four years and have mostly shied away from anything that seemed too 'technical' thinking that I've not got enough time, patience, skill or understanding for it - but felt increasingly aware of the need to understand spinning better in order to have more control over and fun with the process and the results. And the course is proving to be there perfect choice for this: I've already mastered new skills I wasn't even sure I'd even manage to pick up (such as spindle spinning, and spinning true woollen, true worsted and many styles in between) and I'm learning fascinating aspects of the history of spinning, about different fibres and their preparations and uses, and about the huge range of choices for spinners to create the design they want. A hugely rewarding, inspiring and empowering course."

Emily Allan reviewed: Two day leather bag making course

"I really enjoyed the course. Sarah's studio is light and peaceful . She is an excellent teacher and the course was very well planned. Sarah was able to be very flexible supporting us all to make different bags, teaching us all the necessary skills and assisting us when necessary. She was incredibly patient, had a good sense of humour and a really skilled craft's woman. I was so happy with the bag I was able to make and may choose to go on the course again as it was such a satisfying enjoyable weekend. There was tea, delicious coffee and biscuits when ever we wanted and a great lunch was also provided."

Williams Handmade responded:

"Hi Emily, thank you so much for lovely review. I hope you are enjoying using your bag. Please do come back again."

Alice reviewed: Two day needle felting a wired armature animal

"All the steps to enable you to start from a reel of wire, a bundle of wool and a felting needle, and finish by creating a recognisable and characterful animal of your choice; with the intention that you will be able to create almost any animal by yourself in future (and explanation of why cats are so very difficult). Clear explanations of the basics, and those tips that can lead to an excellent end result. All in a relaxed, very friendly and supportive atmosphere - and with the excellent Blue Ginger gallery cafe on site for lunch and snacks (don't miss the cake)."

Chris Bray reviewed: One day stained glass classes by Le Breton Traditional

"This Day Course was an excellent introduction to creating an item in glass. Matt was an excellent teacher and he packed such a lot in the time available but on reflection it seemed a relaxed day! I came away knowing the basics which will be so helpful if I work with glass again but it is best to go with a specific idea of what you would like to make and in what format. Matt was very attentive to everyone whatever they were making and however much assistance they needed. I would certainly recommend the course to others."

"Really enjoyed this course, had such a lovely day, the class size was perfect and meant everyone could have as much help and attention as they needed. Alice is a great teacher and her relaxed style of teaching created a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. There is plenty of time to actually complete the weave and I feel like I learned enough to be able to do this at home too."

Maureen Wiesner reviewed: Christmas Pudding - needle felting workshop with The Lady Moth

"I attended the Easter Bunny class together with my (grown-up) daughter. Neither of us had ever done any needle-felting before, but we loved it. Zenia is a delight and explains everything so well and is always ready to help with any difficulties. It was rather lovely to sit in the cosy Polish library surrounded by books, felting away with a very friendly group of people, and a huge cup of tea and biscuits. We were very pleased with our finished bunnies, and had a very relaxing, enjoyable Sunday afternoon."

Karin is a gifted and wonderful teacher and we, on the course were all able, no matter what our previous experience or expertise to make wonderful animals. Virginia Painter reviewed: One day Mosaic workshop Moon Hare Studio, Devon

"This course was just so much fun. We learnt a lot about techniques, materials ideas and Adela, as a self-taught mosaic artist, shares all the hints and tips that she has learnt on the way. Her work is absolutely stunning - so there’s hope for us all. She is generous with materials, information, ideas and tea and biscuits ?. It was a great taster session and inspires you to go and do more. One thing I’d advise you to do - have an idea for a design (to fit anything up to about 6x4 inch area) before you come. Templates of various shapes are supplied including squares that would make great little wall plaques / teapot stands etc. There are about 7 in a group and it was friendly and inspiring."

Jan Harper reviewed: Beginners crochet course - in Trowbridge, Wiltshire

"Lynn is the best. So welcoming and patient. I was a complete beginner. But by the end of the afternoon I had made a granny square and started on a scarf which I have now finished. Lynn is very patient and is very happy to go over things as many times as needed. She makes you feel at ease. I am going to book another course, it was well worth the money. Lynn has a wonderful collection of items she has made - they are all fanatics and she's more then willing to show them to you.Thank you Lynn for a great afternoon and your patience as I know I was not your easiest pupil. Have a great Easter to you and your Husband. Thanks Jan."
