Jeszemma Garratt reviewed: One day silver jewellery making in Worcestershire.

"We have had the best time making each other’s wedding rings. Every last thing was perfect; the location, the tea, the whole experience nwas top notch. Jonathan’s expertise and calmness was a perfect balm in the middle of wedding-planning chaos. Seriously, I would recommend everyone makes their own wedding rings on this boat, you get to spend the day away from wedding madness and be calm and you get to make something with love for the person you love. I cried a little when I saw how much love and care he put into making mine, I will cherish it forever. The one I made for him is pretty amazing too!! We were both slightly nervous as we were complete beginners, but Jonathon made sure we felt supported and comfortable . He filled us both full of confidence and knew when to sit back and when to step in. We are delighted with our rings, they are unique and really high quality, I can not recommend this day enough and we will remember it always."

Salt Way Silver responded:

"Thank you Jaszemma I am so pleased that you are happy with your rings and that you enjoyed the day making your wedding rings on the boat. It was great to see you working together and laughing. Thanks also for the tips - I have put them in the long term plan! Best wishes for the big day. I'm sure it will be amazing. Jonathan"

Emily Hoare reviewed: Luxury Christmas decorations (full day) with the Cheshire School of Glass

"This was the best course I have been on. We got cake and tea on arrival, Jenny was so inspiring and upbeat and the studio is so pretty with lovely beams in a converted barn on a farm. We made more that I realised was possible and we got discounts for further courses and buying future materials from a company in Liverpool. I thought this was really good value for money."

poppy reviewed: 'Art of Stained Glass' - Oldbury, Birmingham

"I attended a 4 day course in order to learn about the painting and leading process of this ancient art. Upon my arrival I was greeted with a stunning mosaic doorstep, this delighted me straight away and then Jamal's smiling face appeared from the back garden and lead me up the garden path to his bijou studio. From the outset I knew I would enjoy the whole creative experience and I wasn't disappointed. Not only is Jamal an extremely knowledgable artist but a genuine master craftsman. During coffee breaks he kindly showed me the large panels he was currently undertaking for a church down south and these pieces were breathtaking. Back in the studio, in between his expert tuition, he also worked on some small elements of the windows and these were exquisite little 'jewels' and I felt very privileged to see him at work whilst simultaeneously receiving support to produce my own little glass 'treasure' I am very happy to recommend this course to students of all levels of experience as Jamal adapts to individual needs. A thoroughly enjoyable 4 days, thank you."

deborah clarke reviewed: PaperCrafts & Cardmaking Craft Sessions with Stampin Up Demonstrator

"Myself and my daughter have attended a few of Lindsey's courses, I would have done more if I could ( but holidays got in the way). She is fabulous, informative, patient and her demo cards are just beautiful. I always come away wishing I could go back next week. I have taken away some great ideas to put to the test at home. If you do want to purchase stock , she can help , but there is no mention of buying anything, in fact I had to ask... thanks Lindsey (great value for money)."

Paul Burt reviewed: Woodturning courses in Hampshire - Beginners and improvers wood turning courses - Turn British, all British lathes!!

"My grown-up children bought me a one-day voucher for Xmas and what an excellent gift this turned out to be. I love wood and have dabbled a bit in making walking sticks, but today’s course with Andy was different class. One 2 One tuition, the undivided attention of a craftsman, when you want/need it and lots of tea/coffee cake, a delicious hot lunch and a bowl to be proud of to take home - now that is a day well spent. Andy shares lots of top tips about the tools and techniques as well as advice on machinery esp lathes etc. I would highly recommend that anyone remotely interested should go on a one-day course - you will not be disappointed - and it was fun! Thanks Andy and good luck with the Bike!"
