Description

Come to the beautiful woodland at the Garlic Farm on the Isle of Wight and learn how to weave a willow sculpture. In this one day workshop we can create a willow chicken, pheasant or random shape like one of my willow globes for the garden... We begin by creating the framework and securing it together, then little by little adding sticks to form the random weave that covers the shape adding in the details as we go... You finish up with something to take home and cherish....

What's included in the price?

I include use of all my tools and materials as well as plenty of tea, coffee and cake. Please bring something for your lunch, or pick up something delicious from the Garlic Farm Cafe.

I started wyldwoodwillow back in 2001 after weaving for a year or so... It helped me through a particularly difficult chapter in my life and I discovered that I had a burning desire to share the healing nature of weaving. I started teaching workshops fairly early on and weaving pretty much anything I could, currently I weave baskets, coffins, living willow,sculptures and create furniture and decorative fencing for the home and garden. My business is successful and I am a full time weaver.
