Learn the mindful technique of stencil printing using my personally designed stencils onto a ready- made cushion cover. This course is all about creating pretty, vintage inspired tea cups and spring flower designs via learning the basic techniques to achieve good quality print effects, and also build delicate layered patterns. The workshop is perfect for beginners as the morning kicks off with demonstrations and plenty of practice time on paper allowing you to build your confidence. During the day I share with you my knowledge, tips and tricks for how to achieve great results on both card and fabric. We will cover how to print the different flower shapes to create lively, natural looking groupings, & bold double layering of paint for the varied patterned tea cups. My stencil system is unique and means that everyone goes home with a cushion cover design personal to them, people are always surprised and delighted how different everyone's end results look! Once heat fixed the cushion cover will be hand washable. By the end of the day you will have heaps of knowledge about techniques and composition, and will have gained the confidence to continue stencil printing at home. The opportunities for projects are endless!
What's included in the price?
A good quality neutral blank cushion cover to stencil on to. Pre-made stencils for use during the day, there is the option to purchase them at the end of the day. Fabric stencil paints & equipment to use on the day, again all can be purchased. An apron to wear. Morning & Afternoon refreshments

I mix my own range of fabric stencil paint colours in a co-ordinted range of pleasing colours that work on both ligher, and darker coloured materials. These will be available for your use on the day and to purchase along with stencils at the end of the course.
Yes - once heat fixed the printed items can be given a gently hand washed.
