A 2-day introduction to spoon carving using traditional green woodworking techniques to carve your own spoon. This course will introduce you into using an axe and carving knife to have a gentle and creative conversation with piece of wood, turning it into a beautiful and functional spoon to use cooking, serving or eating food to those dear to you! Maintenance and care of your tools, safety, selecting your wood and how to bring your creation out will all be covered throughout the day.
