Description
Whittling an introduction to carving wooden sticks into something useful or a thing of beauty using a knife. This one day workshop is an introduction to carving small wooden items and objects using very basic tools. Once you have learned the basics you can whittle away almost any where. The things you need to learn are a few basic knife techniques and the importance of keeping your knife sharp. All these things will be covered in the course. We will take a short break for lunch, which you can enjoy alongside the canal. You will also have the opportunity to visit the craft shop.
What's included in the price?
We will provide all the materials and tools for your project. The kettle will be on a selection of teas and coffee will be available. Don't forget to bring your own packed lunch.
