Pattern cutting and drafting course for beginners

Description

This course is perfect for anyone that has a passion for making garments. It would be best to know how to use a sewing machine (you can find it in the list of courses we offer) prior to this course in order to fully benefit from the experience. This class covers all you need to know about what a pattern is, how to use pattern cutting tools and how to read your pattern. You will teach you how to draft your own dress block from scratch, how to label it properly to get it ready for use. You will then cut your dress block into calico and stitch it. If there is time, you will try your dress toile to see how it fits and then adjust your pattern accordingly.
