Description
Learn Scottish woodcarving traditions in the forest at Inshriach, close to Aviemore. Follow in the footsteps of the ancient Highlanders by replicating a 2000 year old Highlands cup of your own. With expert tuition from Wooden Tom, you will be guided to safely use hand tools such as a knife and axe to create your own Highlands kuksa cup or whisky quaich to take home. This is one of the more technical and physical courses so to get the most out of it, it is recommended you have done some woodwork before or at least used to working with your hands in other activities.
