This course is perfect for anyone that already knows how to use an industrial machine and is ready to learn the basics of Haute Couture. This class will cover the following: -Hand-sewing techniques (hook and eye, cross stitch, felling, closing linings, stab stitch, chain stitch, mounting stitch) Mounting, lace, mounting embroidery -Pin hem, french seam, staystitch, boning in seam, easing in bust seam, mounting -Stitch a lining and The art of pressing -Insert an invisible zip and open end zip -prepping a sleeve head -Hem with organza, spaghetti loops, shorten a zip -Petticoat making -making of Inside corset belt-outside belt -You will leave with a fully made petticoat Held by Atelier6
