Learn the skills required to make your own beautiful set of 3 mosaic coasters/trivets (1x long and 2x round), which can be displayed and enhance your home. You can use them for tea and biscuits, or to display any lovely things you have. This is a perfect introduction project to the wonderful world of mosaic, and I promise you will love every minute of this immersive workshop. Choose from a wide variety of glass tiles and learn to cut, shape and arrange them to include in your piece. Colour options for this workshop are: - Cool blues. - Fresh green. - Punchy pastel. - Your choice. Contact Michele via the 'message the tutor' button to let her know your chosen colour option. This mosaic workshop is a lovely introduction to mosaic, learning how to use mosaic tools and materials for creating your unique mosaic. This workshop is suitable for beginners, hobbyists, and for those who would like to improve their own mosaic skills. You will create a lovely set of 3 mosaic pieces using the direct method technique, where the mosaic is created by gluing your tiles directly onto a shaped base. At the end of the workshop you will need to leave your design with me to fully dry. Your piece will then be cleaned and grouted. Your artwork will then be ready for collection or posting. Please note P&P costs may vary depending on size and weight of your design. We do require at least 2 participants to run this amazing workshop, so how about bringing a friend or family member along with you to get creative and have some time together!

For your safety and comfort during the workshop, we recommend wearing comfortable clothing.
Closed-toe shoes are a must.
Aprons will be provided.
Unfortunately you will not be able to take your artwork away with you on the day, as it will need time to dry ready for the next finishing stages. Once dry, I will then clean your mosaic ready for grouting. After grouting all hanging fixings will be added, a further clean will be given and then packaged ready for you. You can come and collect your mosaic when ready. Alternatively, we can arrange posting out to you (please note P&P costs may vary due to size and weight of your finished piece).
