"What a fantastic couple of days spent with Maggie, learning about the art of mosaic and applying ourselves to making our own unique arrangements. The four of us left with different, unusual works of art - a pheasant, a camper van, a house name sign and a tropical fish. "This was my second mosaic workshop and I thoroughly enjoyed this one, much more than the first one I took somewhere else. I found the materials we used to be a lot more 'user friendly' and Maggie coaches you carefully through every step. I often get 'creativity anxiety' when trying a new skill and I never had a chance to feel this here. Her warm chatter and ideas and enthusiasm carry you right on through to a beautiful finished piece. My daughter and I came from many hours away and were offered the B&B option. I had no idea what we were coming to - but this home and garden were amazing! Maggie and her husband truly live the mosaic lifestyle, there is beauty inside and out and they are the most thoughtful hosts. Glorious weekend - and you leave feeling like you've genuinely made new friends."

Even if you have never done anything like this before, Maggie’s infectious enthusiasm will carry you through. "I am 9 years old and I have been to Maggie’s studio a couple of times. I have already learned a lot of things like cutting and using a grinder. Maggie is a great teacher and she is very funny. Her studio is full of shiny treasures and she makes the most amazing things. I would love to go back again."
