Description
Join us for an evening of festive creativity and learn how to make your own unique and beautiful Christmas cards. During the evening, experienced local tutor and artist Sophie Saxon will teach you about the processes involved in transferring designs onto silk using a gutta outline and then various different techniques for mixing and applying paints onto silk fabric. You’ll then have time to experiment over a glass of mulled wine, creating a unique card (or why not frame it as a picture?) using either your own design or choosing from designs supplied by Sophie. The class is perfect for both total beginners and those with more art experience, as the small group size means there’ll be lots of time for one to one support. All materials and use of tools are included in the workshop price. We’ll be serving mulled wine, hot drinks and mince pies to help your creativity! “I loved it. Thank you!”
