Felt art workshop with Debra Esterhuizen ( wet felting and needle felting embellishments)
Description
This is a one day workshop where you will learn all the basics of felt art. You will come away with two pictures. Debra uses a technique that she has developed over 15 years whereby she brings out the creativity in everyone ( artists or beginners alike) using her Wild Abandon method. Heaps of beautiful colours and textures are placed on the table , calm meditative music enhances the atmosphere and Debra encourages us to place fibres without too much thought. People are amazed at the beautiful textures and abstract pieces created in the morning. Once you have a basic understanding of how the felting process works then in the afternoon you will be shown how to create an abstract or landscape / floral picture. If you are already an artist Debra can show you how to recreate your own art style in wool.
