StagHill Bakes is a passion project for Ian Brownhill and Michael Hirschl. Both are experienced and enthusiastic bakers who are now sharing their knowledge, skills and expertise with others. Ian is passionate about sourdough breads whilst Michael uses his Austrian baking heritage to show people how to make a range of baked products.
"Had a brilliant day with Ian. We were introduced to three different sourdough recipes - focaccia, rye loaf and Country loaf. Really pleased with the results. Would highly recommend to anyone who would like a bit of a confidence boost to their baking experience.
A fabulous lunch was provided too. Thanks to Ian and Michael who made it such an enjoyable day."

"This course is brilliant. Ian is a great teacher and really gave a masterclass in teaching us how to bake sourdough, focaccia and rye bread. It was informative and fun and Ian gave us confidence and the tools to make delicious bread. We were made to feel very welcome, were given an excellent lunch and went home with our baked creations and a goodie bag to help us on our way. I highly recommend this course and Ian as a teacher. "
