"Having just done a glass workshop with Sarah we would highly recommend it. We had such an enjoyable experience. It was fun as well as skills building. Sarah’s teaching and support was tailored to our ability, friendly and well prepared. There was choice about what to do and a range of easy and more difficult things to try. Sarah was always helpful and helped us to try things. All the safety about working with glass was clearly and well handled. We love the results of our learning, had a fabulous time, and we really want to do more."

"My husband and I went to do a day learning how to throw pots and getting to grips so the fused glass. Sarah and Chris were both fantastic. Encouraging, knowledgeable and really made the day special. Sarah did the fused glass with us first. She shows us the basics, and then let us work our way from a basic piece to something a little more adventurous. I think there will be some beautiful pieces out of the session. Chris showed us how to throw pots. He started with the basics, giving real clear and helpful instructions and guidance. I love that he was able to guide us so easily but didn’t once stop us being able to put ourselves right and learn from his years of experience. I loved being able to choose how we slip glazed the pots too - a really lovely element of this particular course. The lunch was delicious and the drinks flowed throughout the day. No complaints on that front at all and a lovely added extra to the day. I cannot wait to see the end results. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for something a bit different where you really get some focussed tuition and a chance to learn from their skills and years or expertise. "

"The half day combined pottery and glass fusion workshop was brilliant. My wife and I found it very interesting getting to try two completely different crafts and we really enjoyed the experience. Sarah and Chris are very friendly, personable, and great teachers. Price-wise I was slightly nervous spending that amount on the course but it was definitely worth every penny. We will cherish our wonderful glass and pottery pieces! Thanks so much :) "

"I had a lovely day at Sarah's studio with my mum and sisters on the 3-in-1 glass experience day. Sarah was knowledgeable and patient, and the quality of material to work with was excellent. The day was paced perfectly, and Sarah provided a delicious lunch and plenty of teas and coffees. We learnt a lot and had so much fun. Would highly recommend!"

"I spent a lovely morning with Sarah learning all about fused glass. She is very knowledgeable but gives you the information that you need in a way that doesn't overwhelm you. I managed to make a pendant and a coaster which I really love how they have turned out. I would highly recommend Sarah and any of her courses, so much so I'm looking at going back for more."

"My friends and I had a brilliant day on the Combined Pottery and Glass whole day course. Sarah and Chris were wonderful hosts and very patient and kind tutors. Having never been on a potter's wheel before I was delighted to be able to make (with Chris' help!) three pots which survived!! After a delicious lunch I was then able to make a glass pendant and hanging decoration in Sarah's quiet and tranquil studio. A lovely day spent in the company of lovely hosts. Thank you 😊 "

"Absolutely loved this! We visited Sarah as part of my mum’s 60th birthday celebrations. "We attended the three in one glass experience day which was arranged as a birthday present for my mum’s 80th. We really enjoyed learning and trying out all three techniques and greatly appreciated Sarah’s patience and support throughout. It was fascinating to see how the enamel pieces were created and to be able to experiment with the different colours. We enjoyed a very delicious and relaxed lunch with Sarah and Chris. We are really pleased with all of our pieces which all came out well. I already have one of my pendants and been complimented on it. Thank you Sarah. "

Sarah and Chris were wonderful at explaining a range of techniques using examples and modelling which gave us the confidence to get creative. The number of items you can make in the time given is great and we can’t wait to see the finished products! Lunch was fabulous and we appreciated the teas and coffees throughout the day! Would definitely recommend as a great day out with family or friends, or as a chance to pick up some new skills 😊"

"Took a friend with me to do the whole day taster sessions. Had a fantastic time doing all three of the activites on offer. Enamelling, stained glass and glass fusing - all went very well - probably need more practice as would like to try lots of different ideas and techniques. Made some pendants as presents and one for myself and a Christmas tree hanging decoration which I am looking forward to seeing how it turned out when I collect it soon. We were provided with a lovely lunch and Sarah was so welcoming and friendly. Can definitely recommend these activities. "

"I was treated for Christmas to a fabulous half day course with Chris and Sarah. My first time ever, using a potter’s wheel and something I had always wanted to do- a bucket list experience ticked off! Combining the course with the glass making was a fantastic combination and J had a brilliant time. A relaxed atmosphere and great tuition - I definitely would do it again! "Went into both the classes with no idea of what to expect and came hooked on them both! For the Glass Fusion Sarah was very knowledgeable and encouraging and the well stocked studio opened up a myriad of possibilities, even for a novice. Chris is not only a great potter, but has the patience to pass on his knowledge and with his guidance gave me self believe that I too could tame a lump of clay! Can’t wait to see my fired efforts in both crafts. Definitely worthwhile. Can highly recommend both courses. "
