Lindsay Forbes has worked in the jewellery industry since graduating in 3D Design in 2010. Working in a variety of areas from retail to repair, she has a great amount of knowledge in jewellery design and technical skills in goldsmithing. Following her passion for designing and making jewellery she founded her own business; Laconic. Passing on knowledge and skills is something that Lindsay enjoys doing and creating a fun, friendly environment where people can come to relax, be creative and learn and so 'Bench Box' was created!

"Excellent course and Lindsay was absolutely fantastic. I was a complete beginner and was amazed at what I learned and the jewellery I created! The venue From Loft to Loved in Sedgefield was a beautiful, quirky treasure trove of things to buy. We were in the lovely workshop upstairs. Overall a great experience & extremely good value!!"

"Fabulous course with an excellent tutor. A perfect opportunity to try different styles with wire wrapped seaglass without the expense of buying your own tools etc. The facilities are great at Loft to Loved, it's a beautiful shop with incredible owners, always willing to assist, full of enthusiasm and encouragement."

"Such a fun class! Lindsay was incredibly nice, helpful, and she was a great teacher. She encouraged everyone along the way and the finish rings were amazing! Definitely book with a friend(s) as it's more fun to have a socal buddy along the way. "

"My fiancé and I attended this course and had the best afternoon. We visited as a day date for our anniversary. We genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend the day. We made beautiful rings to take away and Lindsey was so accommodating. We had a great laugh, and everything was explained in detail. Would 💯 recommend for anyone wanting to do this course. "
