"I really enjoyed my day with Jo. I found the course was well structured (considering some of us were making different types of rings) and Jo seemed to be an expert in her craft. It was really quite impressive. Also the other course attendees were so nice and we had a lovely time chatting. I’m incredibly pleased with the rings I made - they’re beautiful. It was so fun - I would love to do it again!"

"Really enjoyed the day. Made 2 bangles and gained a lot of knowledge as eell as skills. Have worked with silver clay but this is very different. Quite a workout using a hammer! Would recommend for anyone looking to learn and gain new skills and confidence."

You can definitely achieve a lovely pendant with no prior experience. I loved it that much I booked myself on another course in December. Have fun!"

"From start to finish this has been he best workshop I have taken. The venue was lovely, tools and equipment in abundance. Jo was very warm, helpful and so relaxed in her approach. We all received a details booklet with instructions to take away. The tuition was amazing, Jo helped us all when we needed it and gave very clear instructions. We weren't rushed and we all completed our beautiful rings. I didn't think it was possible to make such lovely rings first time around. I would highly recommend this course. I booked immediately for the wave ring course and can't wait to attend. Amazing day."

"Loved this course! Joanna is a very talented lady and has a natural ability to communicate with her students. Its so important to feel relaxed and therefore, be able to take on board instructions; not being afraid to 'have a go'. She certainly creates this empathic environment. Thank you Joanna. I'm looking forward to having another go and improving upon my creation. (If I were to change one thing it may be the ratio of student-teacher. We were a sociable group of eight but maybe six would have been even better.)"

(Regarding the class size - unfortunately limiting the class size to 6 rather than 8 would mean an increased workshop fee, nearly £20 extra in the case of this particular workshop. Some of the more advanced, technical workshops, however, are limited to 6 or sometimes even 4 students.)"

"I was given Craft Courses vouchers for my birthday and I picked this as one of the workshops to do. I'm really pleased I did. It was wonderful from beginning to end. Jo is lovely and makes you feel at ease. She is very encouraging and an excellent teacher. The techniques are fun and very effective. I made a pendant and two pairs of earrings and the estimated cost of materials is just right. The venue is great and there is a plentiful supply of hot drinks and biscuits, which is always very important in my opinion! I highly recommend Jo's workshops and hope to do another one before long."

"My 16 year old son who has decided this is the career for him, recently had a two day private course with Joanne. She was so helpful and accommodating finding a time to fit him in out of term time and before exams. I cannot thank her enough. He had the most fantastic time and gained so much experience during his short time with her. Her generosity of knowledge and experience is amazing and her teaching skills are excellent. They covered such a range of techniques and he had constant hands on experiences. It has given him the confidence and belief that he can do it and he is very keen to do another course soon.
