Elizabeth D reviewed: Create gem-inspired stones: polymer clay workshop

"I had a wonderful day with Elizabeth making a beautiful pendant and a separate bead necklace. Elizabeth had created some beautiful clay colours ahead of the course to match my signature colour. She showed me how to blend the clay to get the exact shade I wanted and how to add a gold fleck effect. She answered all my questions about baking, buffing and varnishing the beads. Elizabeth also had plenty of examples of necklaces she had already made, and bead shapes that could be created, so it was easy to choose my own design. She also provided tips on stringing the necklace with the beads and accompanying readymade gold accents. Everything from how to stop the beads falling off the string to finishing the clasp was explained. I ended up with a beautiful claret bead necklace and a similar coloured pendant that I am proud to have made and love wearing. Elizabeth was also a generous host and working in her home studio was a delight. It was a brilliant experience. "

Elizabeth Sadler Jewellery responded:

"Thank you for your kind words. I really enjoyed helping you create some gorgeous coloured beads and a beautiful pendant and necklace. It was a pleasure to meet you and to have such a lot of fun. "

"It was my second time attending this workshop with the lovely Elisabeth Sadler, Jewellery Designer. I am so pleased that I have learned a bit more about working with polymer clay, and (with Elisabeth's guidance) I've created some beautiful citrine inspired pendants. Thanks again Elisabeth (and husband) for the lovely warm reception and for your time last Saturday. All the best."

Elizabeth Sadler Jewellery responded:

"Again, thank you so much for your generous comments. Good luck with your future projects "

"Lovely day, Elizabeth, if a bit exhausting! I hope you have recovered! Thank you for taking so much effort to cover as much as possible in the day, I found it fascinating and would like to learn more now! Thank your husband for making coffee and lunch which was very tasty and served in such beautiful surroundings."

Elizabeth Sadler Jewellery responded:

"It was a pleasure to meet you and to share a polymer clay adventure. I was very impressed by your creations. A very full day but worth it. "
