I'm Eleanor, I'm a jeweller and glass maker and I love colour, texture, design and pattern. I work across all of these in a variety of media including fused glass, enamel, silver, copper, anodised aluminium creating my one-off jewellery and glass pieces. I retrained as a jeweller in 2012, and I work with my husband at Rainbow Glass Studios where I thoroughly enjoy teaching weekend courses in glass and enamelling. I believe everyone has creativity and I want to encourage you to explore yours!

"My day with Eleanor at Rainbow Studios on Saturday was very rewarding and enjoyable. The studio is a lovely place, full of glass art in many styles back to Victorian times, and well equipped for the five of us students to make the most of our six hours there. Eleanor must have given many such beginner's days but she took us through the basics with infectious enthusiasm, then helping us in the afternoon to create one or more of our own pieces in whatever style we wanted. "

"I participated in the fused glass for beginners day course in March 2023. It was taught by Eleanor. Overall the whole experience was superb from start to finish. Eleanor’s communication before the course was very helpful and clear. The day itself was excellent. I can’t recommend it highly enough. As an absolute beginner and not a particularly practical person I found Eleanor’s guidance extremely helpful and supportive. The course was fun! There was a very generous amount of material to work with and every single person on the course (5 people) made quite different things. I came away feeling energised and happy and I hope to do further courses here in the future. The location of the studio right on Church Street and by Clissold Park further enhance the day for a pleasant lunch break. Loved it! Thank you again! "
