The Earth Pig Pottery studio is located in The Green Man Gallery, a well-known community art hub in the centre of the bustling market town of Buxton. We have been providing pottery and art lessons in the town for over two years and have great facilities - a studio on the second floor, a large workshop room, gallery and exhibition space on the ground floor with a shop selling ceramics, prints, cards and artwork.
"Geoff was a top bloke with buckets of patience as well as clay. Both my partner and I had never thrown pots prior to our session and with his help and guidance were able to produce 2 pretty good looking bowls.
Geoff’s easy going nature made the whole experience worthwhile and more importantly great fun . "
"Brilliant experience with Geoff - there were 3 of us and none of us had any previous experience of pottery throwing. Geoff worked with each of us individually with gentle humour and encouragement to get us to a final recognisable dish.
Will definitely be booking again. Highly recommend
Geoff 😊"

"Geoff was a fantastic teacher and I had a super time learning how to make a pot on the wheel. He explained everything clearly and set a wonderfully relaxed tone for the course. "
Earth Pig Pottery responded:
"So glad you enjoyed the session, Rowena. Hope to see you again soon. "
"A wonderful introduction to pottery. Geoff was a patient teacher who gave clear instructions which enabled us to achieve a decent result for a first attempt! Definitely an addictive pastime . Recommend as a great present for anyone who wants to have a go! Or ongoing tuition to further skills. Just wear warm clothes as the studio is chilly

Earth Pig Pottery responded:
"Thank you, Jane. Glad you enjoyed the session."
