Rachael Lewis reviewed: Beginners Weaving with the Rigid Heddle Loom - at All in a Spin

"I cannot recommend attending one of Dunja's courses enough. The workshops are held in a beautiful setting and the course covered everything you needed to know to create a beautiful scarf of your own choice. It was an extremely relaxing and cosy experience and Dunja was always on hand to help students through all stages of the weaving process. I will certainly be looking to attend more courses in the future!"

"My friend and i attended a card making class with Lindsey and it was an afternoon very well spent. Lindsey was incredibly organised ,clear with her instructions and had the patience of a saint ! At the end of out time we had produced greeting cards that looked sophisticated and expensive , something that anyone would be thrilled to receive. I would highly recommend attendance on one of Lindsey's courses, not only for the skills developed , but for the brilliant company ! enjoy !"

Mick reviewed: Oak stool making experience - rustic carpentry & green wood work

"I attended one of Ian's workshops a couple of weeks ago with my daughter as a friend recommended him to me. I was slightly apprehensive as I've no knowledge or skills in traditional wood working and didn't no what to expect. On our arrival we were both greeted by Ian who was a softly spoken very welcoming gentleman, he explained what he did for a living and talked about traditional wood working skills. Whilst there my daughter and myself made stools under the watchful eye and guidance of Ian, the whole experience was amazing for both of us and Ian amazing workshop just added to the feel of such a creative process. I would strongly recommend this to anyone, great day awesome Guy. We will definitely be back soon."

Greta Friggens reviewed: Introduction to Frame Loom Weaving

"Enjoyed a lovely day in Alice's studio learning how to weave, properly! Dabbling at home is all very well, but learning how to do it properly is so much better. Classes are small so you have all of Alice's attention and get to take home a finished piece of work."

Christine Holcroft reviewed: Wood carving for beginners and improvers at Ness Botanic Gardens Cheshire

"I decided to do this course as I've never worked with wood at all (in my day the girls only did needlework/cookery at school). It's been on my bucket list for a while. I was apprehensive at first but John's teaching technique soon made for a relaxing weekend. We had loads of ideas and information given to us and expert demonstrations from John. Lots of help was given where needed. I feel shattered now it's over but really enjoyed my weekend, doing something different. I actually just about ended up with an almost complete owl (very proud) but could probably have done with an extra day to complete that and practise some more basic techniques. Would definitely consider doing a follow up course; this was excellent and well worth the money. Thanks John."

"Adela really knows her stuff and is passionate about mosaic. Jo Saunders reviewed: Mixed Media Painting Workshop in Brighton Seaside Home

"I had such fun - and that's what art is all about, right? We experimented and investigated different textures and paints. We stencilled, brushed, paletted, glued and admired. I learned so much and Laura has given me confidence in my art. I absolutely love the canvas I produced at the end of the day (I usual despise what I have created!) Totally recommended."

Karen Sutton reviewed: A fabulous introduction to fused glass - one day course

"WOW! What an entertaining and educational experience! To get 'hands-on' experience with glass was wonderful. It really did proven that glass art isn't easy though and Siobhan's skill and 20 years + of experience really came across in the course. What's more, the Forge Gallery is right by the sea, so you can make a weekend of it!"

Jessica Painter reviewed: Introduction to Leather Craft

"I had SO much fun on this course! Bill is extremely knowledgeable and he will tell you exactly what you shouldn't waste your money on when it comes to investing in tools! I learnt a huge amount in this two day course and came away with a fantastic belt and bag which I was really proud of, as well as a great deal of knowledge about leather and the art of working with it. Bill is extremely welcoming. He is very patient and has a great sense of humour. It was wonderful listening to all of his stories from over the years working in this industry. A very relaxed and fun workshop environment. I would highly recommend."

Clive Freeman reviewed: Blacksmithing, bladesmithing and metal craft

"I had a great day a Fransham Forge 22nd Sept 17. It had been a long while since I had done any metal working and had been looking for something different to do and spotted this one day course with Nigel. Was not sure what my abilities would be. Nigel is a very good teacher and made it look so easy, there were 3 other guys there 1 who had been before and 2 who were first timers like me. During the morning we see Nigel guide the 1st guy through more technical work, while teaching use other three the basics of metal working and how to do a basic point then a long tapering point which we then curled round to form the handle, a decorative alternating twist was then added to to the main shaft of the poker. We also made a B&Q scraper the blade on this was beat out using one of the power hammers with Nigel's 1 to 1 guidance. I had asked when I booked and if he thought my skill was up to it on the day, was to make some scroll legs for a out door small coffee table. Which we did do in the afternoon and that was good, Nigel showed all of us how to do a scroll on a former then gave me the other 4 pieces of flat bar and said work your heat along where you need it, then worked with the other guys and keep checking on me make sure I was ok. That was enjoyable and excellent to be able to produce the four legs nearly the same as Nigel's. I will be looking to try and go back again to learn more from a very good teacher."
