"I had a great day with an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and entertaining instructor. Nigel showed me a number of techniques to improve my saddle stitching, using both the traditional method and the double pricking approach. He built my confidence and made sure I understood the why as well as the how. His explanations of how to cut leather, how to create a right angle and how to design a tool roll were clear and easy to understand. He refined my tools and they are so much easier to use now. Ultimately, he had me feeling confident whilst a long way out of my comfort zone. If you want to learn something about leather working, he is a fantastic teacher. I cannot recommend him highly enough. I will be going back for more instruction."

"Fantastic day. Gigha is a very relaxed tutor, and imparts her knowledge quietly and creatively. She worked very hard to give us a special experience. We had a wonderful selection of choices of bases to mosaic and a glass sweet shop of colours, shapes, and variety from which to choose. She also produced a delicious sit down lunch. The day was run in a caring and thoughtful way. I will definitely be on another course soon. I am absolutely thrilled with the mosaic I made, and my husband is very impressed with my results."

"I spent two days with Nigel and I loved every minute, he is welcoming and is full of brilliant stories and knowledge, this is a profession he clearly loves and loves to share with people. The Shepard Hut was lovely, very cute and sweet, I went to a pub down the road for dinner that was awesome. The sculpture trail is lovely, there's a little river and grass, even a resident cat and peacock. I didn't have anything in mind to make so Nigel gave me options of things to do and developed me from there. He's patient and even when it wasn't quite right he made it work! I spoke to Maxine via email. I rearranged a few times to make it work with my work and she was really helpful. I will certainly be back :)"

"The 'Glass Fusing' Course was a surprise birthday gift and what a wonderful surprise it was too! The two hours seemed to go quickly. I have never experienced glass fusing yet I found the course both interesting and enjoyable, different to other experiences I have had such as sewing and painting. The instructor was very knowledgeable, amenable and helpful, her explanations were clear. A very creative course: I had a great feeling of achievement by making a coaster, a pendant and for extra fun - a cocktail twirler!! Lovely items on display to inspire and give you ideas to further boost your creativity. I would recommend this course."

"Fabulous day! Such a unique experience, turning a log into a spoon, using nothing but hand-tools (and a bit of muscle-power). Chris' knowledge and passion for what he does is immense, and to learn a little of that is really rewarding. The day was a good mix of listening, doing, and chatting. Along with that, was a great lunch of home-made soup, bread, cheese and pickle, and afternoon tea with homemade cake! Would thoroughly recommend, either as a one-off, or as an introduction to a great new hobby."

"Booked for my wife as a birthday present and we had a day to remember. We are both new to wood carving and were a bit apprehensive but Jason made us feel very comfortable in his workshop and taught us a lot of techniques during the day. The time went too quickly. Will be booking again."

"I would like to thank George and Sue for an amazing day. Well looked after with hot drinks and biscuits on a bitterly cold day and a very tasty lunch to boot. The wood turning course was very very good and I am just hoping that my brain will retain a fraction of the information that George imparted to me. Andrea thought the bowl was beautiful and very tactile, she loved it. The whole day has given me a sense that this is a hobby that I want to pursue and with the tuition that I received it will help me move forward.
