Kirsty reviewed: Improvers Hand Spinning - Next Steps in Hand Spinning - at All in a Spin

"This was my first course with Dunja and I found her an excellent teacher. She gave close attention to our personal learning objectives and provided well differentiated and skillful tuition and guidance to each of us according to our abilities. I found Dunja knowledgeable and interesting and enjoyed her demonstrations and guidance which was patient and encouraging. I learned more about how to plan what type of yarn to make, and then make samples and record the ratio-and twist and came away determined to practice this and become a more systematic spinner. Altogether a really lovely day- (in Dunja's fabulous studio in a gorgeous location), relaxing but also satisfyingly full of inspiration and new knowledge and ideas to try out."

Maria Sands reviewed: Stonecarving Weekend, Gloucestershire Cotswolds

"I loved the course, such a beautiful setting with spectacular views. Sebastian is a very good tutor helps and supports enough without encroaching on the journey. I was part of a very small group, nothing quite like sitting in the shade on a hot day drinking coffee with gingernuts, my favourite. Listening to other peoples stories and seeing what fantastical beasts emerge from the bathstone. Such a good weekend I cannot rate it highly enough, I came away with something I created with my own hands, she (Dreaming) already has pride of place in my garden. Thank you Sebastian, I look forward to making my next creation with your guidance. Oh and I love the sink....Maria"

Jenny Smiths reviewed: One day needle felting workshop with Celestine and the Hare

"I have now been on two of Celestine and the Hare's one day needle felting workshops. Both were excellent, mostly because of Karen's great skills as a tutor and the incredible degree of thought that she has put into structuring the processes in a way that enabled us all to realise our inner Dormouse while gaining the skills and the confidence to go on to try other creatures. And I will be back for more of these happy, entertaining and deeply enjoyable days while learning I am capable of things I never expected."

Celestine and the Hare responded:

"Thank you Jenny! So lovely to see you again. Love your dormouse."

"I have never been very crafty but always loved the idea of finding one I could relax with. I have definitely found this thanks to Kerry! Tiffany Brett reviewed: Mixed Media workshop with Clare Cosens

"This was the follow up workshop to a gelli printing session I had attended earlier in the year. I've done a fair bit of mixed media but I still learnt some new tips and techniques that I hadn't considered before. Clare is exceptionally generous with her time, energy and resources which makes all of her workshops fun and inspirational. I walked away with a picture that I am proud to hang on my wall."

"I absolutely loved my day making a dormouse! Thank you, Karin, for making the workshop such fun. It was wonderful that everyone worked in their own way with Karin's support and guidance - and everyone ended the day with their own unique and glorious little felted creature. What I enjoyed the most about the course was the spirit of creativity and the freedom to just have a go and see what happened! I feel totally enthused and am absolutely delighted with my little dormouse."

Celestine and the Hare responded:

"Thank you! It was a pleasure to have you along"
