On the down side... we were not offered light lunch, tea and cake ;-p (kidding). I have no hesitation recommending this course."

"I met Ann yesterday for a beginner's crochet lesson. She is a really good teacher and very patient. It took me a while to get my head around it but by the end I was impressed with how far I'd come. I finished off my granny square at home using the really useful information sheets she gave me. I highly recommend the workshop and plan to see Ann again for more lessons once I have mastered granny squares."

"Although a two day workshop for beginners and I had not done any glass painting before , at the end of the workshop I felt confident enough to paint on glass in the traditional manner. Nathalie is a brilliant teacher and so knowledgeable about traditional methods I immediately felt comfortable in the studio. I would recommend this workshop to anyone who wants 2 days of getting away from it all to learn a skill which has been practised for hundreds of years. You will not be an expert but an inspired learner!"

Rachel explained the process really clearly and gave us all lots of help and advice. She provided a fantastic range of resources to choose from and was very helpful. It was lovely to see everyone so proud of their creations and I would definitely recommend this course!"

Could even break up some plates with a hammer if needed too. Thouroughly enjoyed it. Catherines mosaic workshop has gave me the confidence to attempt some projects I have always wanted to do. Sarah is a wonderful teacher, patient and knowledgeable the time flowed by in a nice relaxed learning environment. All of the participants shared encouragement as we progressed though each stage of the programme. My Husband also joined us and he too found the course really useful as a carpenter he found making furniture very enjoyable. I highly recommend the beginner upholstery course offered by Sarah Louise Dix and hope to attend many more in the near future."
